Rockingham Cooperative invites youth and their families to attend Market Animals 101, a beginner-friendly workshop designed to introduce the fundamentals of showing market animals.

This hands-on learning experience is perfect for youth interested in showing market animals and will cover:
✅ Goal Setting – Understanding the importance of planning and setting achievable livestock show goals.
✅ Livestock Evaluation – Learning key characteristics of a high-quality market animal.
✅ Nutrition – Exploring proper feeding practices to ensure animal health and performance.
✅ Showmanship – Developing handling and presentation skills for the show ring.
🐑 Market lambs and goats will be on-site for hands-on demonstrations!
