You’re invited to an upcoming Dairy Producer Meeting – sponsored by Purina Animal Nutrition on Wednesday, June 21st.
This meeting, at Traditions Family Restaurant (625 Mt. Clinton Pike East, Harrisonburg) will include lunch and begin at 11:30 am.
Dr. Rebecca Klopp, Calf & Heifer Specialist with Purina Animal Nutrition, will lead discussions on:
- Maternity pen & colostrum management
- Selecting the right milk replacer
- How to boost nutrition when feeding whole milk
- Picking a starter to optimize growth & rumen development
- Importance of weaning transitions
- Improving future performance
She’ll also be available for your calf & heifer nutrition questions following the facilitated discussion.
