Rockingham Cooperative will continue to offer all 4-H & FFA members within our service area the opportunity to solicit support for their market animal show & sale event this year through the online portal, below. We also encourage you to visit your closest Rockingham Cooperative location that you shop at to shake a managers hand and ask for support in-person!
Introducing Amino Power Show Feeds
Amino Power Show Feeds are available at your local Rockingham Cooperative. This line of show feed, milled at Rockingham Mill in Dayton, offers nutrition for cattle, goats and lambs so you can supplement to achieve your desired result with your show animals – year round.
The lamb, goat, and cattle feed are textured with a hefty molasses covering to ensure palatability. All three types of feed hold similar science in each bag, with a focus on amino acid profiles to ensure maximum digestibility and absorption of nutrients for your show livestock. Many youth exhibitors and breeders have chosen to feed Amino Power for its ability to maximize genetic potential and for its economical price-point.
Rockingham Cooperative is proud to be in a place where we are able to support our local 4-H & FFA youth exhibitors. $1 from each bag of Amino Power Show Feed sold goes back into our 4-H & FFA Youth Livestock Support Fund, to purchase animals at the county livestock show and sales we support each year! Join us at Market Animal College
Market Animal College is the premiere youth livestock training event in Virginia, providing hands-on learning opportunities for youth interested in showing livestock of all ages and experiences! Mark your calendars for our event on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Rockingham County Fair Grounds.
NEW in 2025 – youth participants will select one of the 4 major species(cattle, hogs, goats or lambs) tracts of courses to participate in our day-long livestock handling & fitting demonstration. Come learn tricks of the trade from industry professionals! It is encouraged, but NOT required that youth participants bring their livestock to take advantage of all the hands-on opportunities.
It only costs $10 per youth exhibitor to participate in Market Animal College. That gets each child access to some of the most knowledgeable experts in our industry, a draw-string bag, notebook and access to our exclusive pricing of our on-site show supply store.

0% Youth Livestock Financing Program
Each year, we are pleased to offer special incentives, promotions and opportunities in support of these programs, including 0% Financing (until the first check is received) on products within our feed, feeding equipment, animal health and show supply departments. The 4-H/FFA 0% Financing Program is available to any 4-H/FFA member showing market livestock during the current show/show year. Financing applications can be found, here, and need to be re-filed each year. Print out the 4-H/FFA Livestock Agreement Form and bring it in to see your local store manager for program specifics.
Submit your show photo’s here, showcasing your market project and you might be picked to be featured in upcoming Rockingham Cooperative market animal promotions. Showcase your finished project, and any Rockingham Cooperative feeds/products that you used throughout the year.
